The quick alternative to expensive custom earmolds
AR KI Tech: Perfect for large and small ear canals
At BOLLSEN, we’ve developed a method to provide you with custom-fit earplugs within a few business days – giving you the peace and quiet that only tailored hearing protection promises.
Life+ AR KI Tech uses artificial intelligence to determine your optimal earplug size. The system compares two photos of your ears with our database of thousands of ears and automatically provides you with the right in-ear plugs.
Low cost, professional results
While custom earmolds from an audiologist start at around 100 euros per pair, we can deliver at about 55 percent cheaper and faster thanks to process automation – with similar noise reduction averaging 24 decibels.
Sometimes, the noise in our surroundings is almost unbearable, especially when we want to sleep, concentrate, or protect our hearing. The best solution is custom-fit earplugs that completely fill your ear canal.
In the past, the first step was to visit a doctor to determine the need. This was followed by several appointments with an audiologist for ear measurements and fitting. This process took weeks – weeks without peace, during which you longed for a deep sleep.

Sleep peacefully with custom-fit hearing protection
Your partner snores? The tap drips? Noisy neighbors keep you awake at night? Life+ ensures a distraction-free sleep: the ear protection reduces the noise level by an average of 24 decibels to a pleasant whisper. This helps you fall asleep faster, sleep deeper, and wake up feeling refreshed and in a good mood.
Don’t miss anything with the filter
Sleep soundly and still hear all important sounds: that’s why we developed the Life+ filter technology. It specifically dampens low, steady frequencies such as traffic, breathing noises, or the ticking clock. For high frequencies like the morning alarm or the baby monitor, the filter remains permeable.
Even side sleepers forget…
…that they are wearing BOLLSEN Life+. Our earplugs disappear completely in the ear, allowing for a comfortable sleep on your side. The slim two-flange design is easy to insert and only protrudes with a tab, allowing you to remove the ear protection with one simple motion.
Soft silicone for buttery comfort
Life+ is made of natural, hypoallergenic silicone. The plastic-free material adapts to the shape of your ear canal – providing comfortable, secure, and tight-fitting wear throughout the night. Unlike more rigid hearing protection, it accommodates even the smallest changes in your ear canal, molding to it more precisely over time.
40-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Test your BOLLSEN Life+ AR KI Tech for over a month without any risk. If your sleep does not improve with our earplugs, you will get your money back – no questions asked.
The custom hearing protection for the entire year
Our earplugs have a lifespan of around 100 nights. A pack of three will last you almost the entire year before a replacement is needed. The hypoallergenic silicone is resistant to earwax, dirt, and moisture.
Quickly clean
Proper care can extend the life of your hearing protection. Simply clean the earplugs as needed with a little water or a damp cloth.
Included in the package is a small aluminum case to safely store your earplugs. Our tip: Keep the earplugs on your keychain so they are always within reach!
Our Contribution
At BOLLSEN, we keep the environment in mind when developing our products. That’s why we use reusable hearing protection made from natural, plastic-free silicone. Additionally:
- Our goal is to achieve CO2-free production by 2025.
- Short transport routes reduce our CO2 emissions.
- We avoid using BPA, latex, PVC, and plasticizers.
Your questions about customised hearing protection
We also offer Life+ in a standard size, which is designed for the ear canals of average-sized adults (both women and men). For particularly small or large individuals, or for children, we recommend opting for the version with ear measurement from the start.
No. Custom-made hearing protection can only be obtained from an audiologist who takes your measurements on-site. Instead, we simplify the process for you: our artificial intelligence determines which of our various sizes fits you best based on photos of your ears.
Unfortunately, health insurance does not cover the cost. However, depending on your insurance, our noise protection might still be more cost-effective. Besides any potential co-payment, you save on referral costs to the audiologist, travel expenses, and lost workdays needed for the measurement and fitting of custom earmolds.
Gently insert the cleaned earplugs into the ear canal while slightly twisting them. Ensure that the ear canal is fully covered without applying excessive pressure. Thanks to the attached tab, you can always easily remove the ear protection.
Remove earwax with lukewarm water or, if necessary, with a damp cloth. Avoid using sharp objects or cleaning agents that could dissolve the hypoallergenic silicone.
No! Life+ is our all-rounder and accompanies you in all situations where you’d like to retreat into yourself. The noise reducer is designed for the varied daily life, whether you’re traveling, focusing at work, or taking a moment to relax.
