My ears seemed to pick up infections at the swimming pool. These earbuds are the best for keeping water out & protecting my ears. Expensive but worth it

These are the best for swimming. My companion loves them, and I did until one fell out in the pool!

First earplugs to stay in my ears while swimming! I felt so much better knowing that I could keep my ears free from the constant irritation and infections caused by swimmers ear. Come with a handy container to clip onto my bag.

I actually think these are great! I got an inflatable, hot tub recently, and my enthusiasm for putting my head under the water gave me a wicked ear infection. This led me to make sure I found earplugs that did the job. I went with ones that would allow me to converse, they were expensive, but made by the same company that made my earplugs. I carry with me for noisy environments and I had really liked the ones they made but they’re aqua plugs left something to be desired. They did none of the things that they were supposed to do. First and foremost, they were supposed to keep the water out, they did not do this well. Secondly, they were supposed to be able to allow me to hear people who were talking better than regular plugs would. They didn’t do this well. Thirdly, they were super uncomfortable. And lastly, they were so hard to figure out how to put them in correctly. So I took them back and was looking for an option that at least did the most important thing which was keeping the water out. That’s when I came across the reviews for Bollsen earplugs . These are a little pricier than other earplugs, but still half as much as the expensive ones I took back. I find them easy to put in and take out. I find them comfortable to wear. They seem to do a great job of keeping the water out. They do not make anything conducive for having a conversation, but perhaps that is just a dream that doesn’t exist. After my horrendous ear infection, I would rather pop these in and out and not be able to hear people while I am wearing them, than risk getting another ear infection.
